About Us

Robinson Escott Planning was established in 1999 and was originally based in offices near Sevenoaks in Kent. The Company has expanded steadily since and is now in offices in Orpington, Kent. The Company currently employs 12 staff and is one of the larger private planning consultancies in the south east.

The Company’s ethos is to ensure that all clients are provided with an expert and reliable planning and development consultancy service. The Practice is headed by John Escott who has nearly 40 years of professional experience both in public and private sectors. John and the team always aim to ensure that the Practice provides comprehensive planning and development advice for both corporate and individual clients.

The Consultancy undertakes all sizes and types of project, including assessments of the development potential of land and buildings, the preparation and submission of planning applications for small and large scale housing developments and commercial proposals. We are also experienced in dealing with agricultural, recreational and educational proposals as well as most other types of development projects.

We have wide experience in handling planning appeals whether they be by Written Representations or Hearings or Public Inquiries. We have an above average success rate which is based on always providing clients with realistic advice on the prospects for an appeal.
