Bob graduated from Queens University in 1975 and finished his planning education at Liverpool University in 1977.
He was elected to the RTPI in 1979 and to the RICS in 1985.
Bob has some 40 years’ experience in planning, the majority of which has been in local government.
Bob retired as Chief Planner, London Borough of Bromley at the end of 2012.
He now does consultancy work for a variety of clients including Local Authorities, development companies, private individuals, residents groups and planning consultancies.
He has been undertaking work for Robinson Escott Planning since September 2014.
Bob has wide experience of all aspects of planning including the preparation of Development Plans, regeneration and development control including appeals and enforcement. He has given evidence since 1979 on numerous occasions at Local Inquiries, Hearings and at other tribunals.
